#71 Speaking Part 2 : Describe a dinner you really enjoyed

When it was

What you ate

Who you were with

And explain why you enjoyed it

 

There are many special occasions that I've attended. But here, I would like to share my experience when I had my farewell party in Osaka.

So, at that time, it was in 2016, I joined a student exchange program in Osaka University. So, in the last night of my exchange program, my professor, Sensei Konichi decided to take us to have a lovely dinner in one of famous sushi restaurants in Osaka. 

I could remember vividly, I ordered a lot of sushi menus because I could say that I am very fond of eating fish especially seafood. And I guess, the ambiance during the dinner was very cheerful and lovely. There were many friends of mine that attended my farewell party. And I could say that the food was great and also the price is quite affordable for me as a student.

At the dinner, we had many conversations about our future, especially our plan whether we want to continue our master's degree at Osaka University or perhaps by joining some other exchange programs in the future. 

I could say that  Professor Konichi was very sad at that night because it was my last day.

Self corrections :

1. "There are many special occasions" seharusnya past tense memakai "There were many special occasions"
2. "a student exchange program in Osaka University." Kalau untuk tempat pendidikan, biasanya memakai "at Osaka University"
3. " So, in the last night of my exchange program" seharusnya preposisi yang benar adalah "on" the last night" emphasizes "the last night" as one of a series of nights: "We were there for a week. On the last night we went to a hotel"
4. "Professor Konichi was very sad at that night", seharusnya tanpa preposisi "at". Langsung saja "Prossor Konichi  was very sad that night"
