#73 Speaking Part 2 : Talk about something you enjoyed doing in a group

Well, I am going to talk an experience that I've been enjoying doing together with my best friend. I would like to share my story when I visited a small village in West Java, which is Tasikmalaya. So it was in 2018, I decided to go to Tasikmalaya with Michael, Fajar and Asui. Because at that time, we were invited to attend our best friend's marriage party.

So, at that time we used a car where Michael drived the car during the journey. And I think it was about two hours of driving. It was a very long journey but during our trip, we made some jokes and also we stopped in some rest areas to have a lunch or perhaps just to buy some snacks.

I think at that time, this journey was very fun and also hilarious. Even though we stucked in  a heavy traffic jam because of the heavy weather in the highway. And then, I think, me and Michael, we were very sad when the journey was over because we hoped in the future we could do this same experience and also perhaps we could go to the nearest beaches or perhaps just simply by go to Jogjakarta to spend for about one or three days in Jogjakarta. 

 

Self Correction :

1. "to talk an experience". Seharusnya ada preposisi "about" sehingga menjadi "to talk about an experience"
   
2. our bestfriend's marriage party.  Konteks kosakatanya akan lebih cocok menggunakan "Wedding Party"
3. "Michael drived the car". Konjugasi kata kerjanya fatal banget. Seharusnya adalah "Michael drove the car"
4. "to have a lunch". Penambahan artikel indefinitif 'a' kurang tepat. Maunya menjadi "to have lunch"
5. 'we stucked in a heavy traffic jam". HAHAHA ini fatal bgt. Jadi pertama, gak ada bentuk kata kerja stucked". Jika pun mengacu pada kata kerja "stuck", ini adalah bentuk past simple dari kata kerja 'stick'. Mungkin yang benar adalah 'stuck' sebagai kata ADJEKTIF.  stuck [adjective] : unable to move from a particular position or place, or unable to change a situation. Jadi kalimat koreksinya adalah "We were stuck in a heavy traffic jam." I was stuck in a traffic jam for an hour yesterday.
   
6. "in the highway". Preposisi seharusnya adalah "on" ya, karena merujuk pada artian "berada pada"
7. Me and Michael. DUUH ini fatal, padahal sudah pernah bikin kesalahan ini juga. Yang benar adalah "Michael and I"
8. "by go to Jogjakarta". Ini salah struktur kalimatnya. Seharusnya berbentuk gerund yakni "by going to Jogjakarta.
