Well, I am going to share my experience when I joined a poem reading competition. Actually, it happened in 2012. At that time, I was a student at the high school. My teacher encouraged me to join this competition because she believed me that I was a great poem reader. So, I decided to participate in this event. And as a matter of fact, I won the first prize.

At the beginning, I didn't believe when my friends told me that I won this competition. But, actually I got a very good reward as the first winner. I could vividly remember after winning this competition I treated some friends to have a lunch at our canteen. I think I was on cloud nine after winning this poem reading competition.

As a matter of fact, I am a huge fan of poem until now. I could say that I adore many famous poems especially poems that are created by some great Indonesia poet. In the future, I hope I could make my own poem and.

My self-correction :

1. "she believed me that I was a great poem reader" wkwkwk maunya gak ada kata benda pronoun "me" cukup menjadi "she believed that I was a great poem reader"
   
2. "At the beginning,". Ini ada 2 jenis memang kalo berdasarkan kamus collocation nya Oxford yakni :PREP. | at the ~ (of sth) | I'm paid at the beginning of each month. |  in the ~ In the beginning I found the course very difficult.  Jadi untuk konteks ini lebih tepatnya adalah preposisi in.
   
3. "I didn't believe when my friends "Kalau ini malah kebalikan poin nomor 1 wkwkw, gak ada kata benda setelah kata kerja believe, maunya menjadi "I didn't believe it when my friends"
   
4. "have a lunch at our canteen" lunch adalah kata benda yang bisa menjadi countable maupun uncountable. Dalam konteks ini dia adalah uncountable. Jadi tak perlu ada artikel indefinitif.
   
5. "I am a huge fan of poem" Ini sama kayak kesalahan pada sebelumnya. setelah ekspreski "a huge fan" maunya diikuti kata benda plural yang sifatnya general.
   
6. "some great Indonesia poet." Ini ada 2 kesalahan, pertama maunya Indonesian= bukan Indonesia wkwk. Indonesia merujuk pada arti negara, sedangkan kalo Indonesian= merujuk pada kebangsaan. Lalu kesalahan kedua adalah poet maunya plural karena ada quantifier some.
