#38 Speaking Part 2 : Describe a line that you remember from a poem

As a matter of fact, I am a huge fans of poem. Since I was in high school, I dreamed to be one of Indonesia greatest poets. Here, I would like to share my favorite poem all the time which is "Aku".

So, in English, this title means me. This great poem was created by Chairil Anwar. He is one of the greatest poets in Indonesia. This poem talks about self-reflection. It is mainly thinking about as human beings, what we should do to our society in order to give our greatest contribution that perhaps could help our society. And I could vividly remember, the first time when I heard this poem was in 2006.

At that time, I was in high school. And I watched a famous romance movie in Indonesia which was "Ada Apa dengan Cinta". So at this movie, one of the characters chose to read this poem for her reading poet competition. And after watching this movie, I really adore this poem because it is so famous and it has many greats lines that are unforgettable. 

My Self Correction :

1.  "I am a huge fan of poem". Ini kesahannya terletak pada kata benda "poem" yang seharusnya berbentuk jamak yakni menjadi "I am a huge fan of poems". Sepertinya kebiasaan karena sering menggunakan istilah "I am a big fan of science atau I am huge fan of history." Nah perbedaan antara kata beda science dan history kan adalah mereka berdua merupakan kata benda uncountable sehingga memang tidak ada bentuk jamaknya. Jadi lain kali harus hati-hati yak.
   
2. "dreamed to be one of Indonesia" Preposisi collocation yang natural dengan kata kerja dream hanya ada dua yakni : of dan about. Sehingga seharusnya menjadi "I dreamed of being one of Indonesia's greatest poets."
   
3. "Indonesia greatest poets." Kesalahannya hanya kurang menambahkan possessive noun aja sih yakni ekstra s, sehingga seharusnya menjadi 'Indonesia's greatest poets"
   
4. "So at this movie, " Preposisi yang tepat adalah "in" karena ini bukan nama tempat seperti sekolah/kampus ya Sar.....Seharusnya menjadi "...in this movie"
