#40 Speaking Part 2 : Describe a person who you think is very open

And explain how you feel about this person

Today, I am going to talk about my mother who I think is the most open person that I ever knew in my life. My mother is an English teacher. She is very strict and also she loves to criticize all of her students especially during her class.

I could vividly remember the time when her former students visited our house. And her students told me that my mother was very judgemental and mean because she was fond of giving some controversial opinions toward her students. However, her students adore her so much because her opinions is very essential and actually are very constructive. Because after my mother gave her critics to her students, sometimes her students felt that they needed to change for their better future.

So, after hearing this story, I could say that I'm very proud of my mom because of her braveness to express her opinions and also her feelings. Even though, sometimes her words could hurt other people feelings. 

My self-correction :

1. "who I think is the most open person". terkesan hilang subjek. Mungkin lebih baik ditambahkan "I think that .... atau "who I think as"
2. "Her opinions is very essential" tidak konsisten antara subject and verb agreement. Opinions plural maka seharusnya "are very essential"
   
3. "and actually are very constructive" . terkesan hilang subjek kalimat. Seharusnya and they are very constructive
   
4. "her braveness to express her opinions" BRAVENESS GAK ADA OII WKWKW adanya kata benda dari keberanian adalah BRAVERY wkwk. Lalu biasanya diikuti dengan preposisi 'in'. contohnya di kamus cambridge adalah "her bravery in expressing her feelings"
5. "other people feelings." Untuk ini kurang possessive pronoun 's' seharusnya adalah 'other people's feelings".
