#42 Speaking Part 2 : Describe a family which you like and are happy to know

Where they live

How you know them

And explain why you like them

Well, I believe that as human beings, it is normal for us to make friends as many as we could in our life. Here, I would like to talk about a family who I adore so much and they are Elvira's family.

So, Elvira is one of my best friends that I met since I was ten years old. I could say that, their house is very close to my house. It is only about twenty minutes of walking from my house. I could say that, Elvira's family is one of many examples for extended family because in their house, there are also their grandfather and grandmothers and also there are two of Elvira's nephew that live at their house. I think I knew this family so well because when I was in high school, I was very keen on visiting Elvira's house to do my homework together with Elvira. Sometimes,  her mother was very fond of asking me to join their lunch so I would have a very lovely lunch together with her family. There are many values that I learned from Elvira's family such as their intimacy.

My self-correction :

1.  make friends as many as . Struktur kalimatnya yang masih salah, seharusnya adalah "make as many friend as we could"
   
2. one of many examples for extended family . Ini ada dua kesalahan lagi yaa.Pertama penggunaan preposisi 'of' untuk collocation dari kata benda 'example'. Lalu yang kedua ingat kata benda setelah of harus general dan plural sehingga perlu ditambahkan artikel indefinitif  'the'. Sehingga seharusnya berubah menjadi : "one of many examples of the extended family"
   
3. here are two of Elvira's nephew that live. Ini kesalahan sama...lupa menambahkan ekstra huruf 's' karena two seharusnya menjadi jamak kata benda nephewnya.
