#56 Speaking Part 2 : Describe a person who helps others in his or her spare time

Well, I suppose I know many good people who are very fond of spending their spare time by helping other people. Here, I would like to talk about my brother who joined a community to teach children.

So, I believe that my brother has a good heart because he joined this NGO since 2016. So, because he joined this community, he must spend his weekends by teaching children how to read Quran, the holy book of Islam people. I believe that during his journey as a volunteer, he is very friendly and he has many students during his experience as a volunteer in this NGO.
So every weekends, my brother should spend for about two hours just to teach these children how to read Quran. And I could say that, in his class there are for around 6 students and all of them are in the age of six or seven years old. I believe that by teaching these children, it could help my brother to express his willingness to help other people especially his community because I believe that he is very passionate in teaching activities.
My Self Correction :
- "teaching children how to read Quran" seharusnya ada article indefinitif di depan kata Quran karena dia spesifik sama seperti Internet >> The Internet.
- "he joined this NGO since 2016" karena aktivitasnya dimulai pada masa lalu dan tetap berlangsung dimasa ini. Seharusnya menggunakan "he has been joining this NGO since 2016" sama seperti di Keith English >>> I've been driving since I was a kid.
- "So every weekends, " lagi dan lagi.....setelah diikuti kata every/each harusnya adalah singularrrrrrr. Tanpa ekstra huruf s !
- "all of them are in the age of six". Preposisi yang benar untuk umur adalah "at" !! PREP. at a/the ~ At your age, I had already started work. |
- " he is very passionate in teaching activities." Preposisi yang cocok untuk kata sifat passionate adalah 'about'. |he's passionate about football|
- TERLALU BANYAK MENGGUNAKAN KATA I BELIEVE MULU AAAAAA
